The pin-striped Calathea has a jurrassic look and a dominant, paint-like design to the leaves. Often due to the darker, glossy green and red undersides, it can sometimes look almost burgundy in colour. The rich, reddish stems and soft pink hued pencil lines make this one of the most exciting Calatheas to look at. Each leaf looks unique as if it has been drawn by hand
